Bookkeeper
Overview
We are looking for a candidate who can handle general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including the preparation of bank account and credit card reconciliations in QuickBooks Online. If you multi-task effectively and have strong communication and time-management skills, you would be a good fit for this role.
Essential Duties
- Provide superb client service through interaction with our accounting firm’s clients and their staff.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Accounting for fixed assets and depreciation.
- Preparation and filing of simple sales tax returns.
- Preparation of 1099’s.
- Special projects and reports.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks Pro Online
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal direction while exercising good judgment & decision -making.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and deliver excellent client service.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and pleasant, positive demeanor.
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
